Well, either we’re both really lucky from a genetics standpoint, or this exercise thing and watching what you eat appears to work. Strong Grandma just got her blood work back. She was a little high (for her) on the total cholesterol, but she beat me on most things. She has lots of good protective HDL, though:
Total Cholesterol 205 (desirable under 200); HDL (good cholesterol) 76 vs. desirable of over 40; LDL (bad cholesterol) 104 vs. desirable of under 130; Triglycerides 124 vs. desirable of under 150; blood glucose 87 vs. desirable of under 100.
